emalezedine was born in Yogyakarta in 1978. Now live in Bali. In 1997-2004 he studied at FSRD ITB. Kemalezedine held his first solo exhibition in 2012 at S.14 Bandung. Since then he has been active in a number of national and international exhibitions. Kemalezedine is also a part of the Neo-Pitamaha group in Bali, which studies and experiments on Indonesian art (painting) and Balinese drawing-painting. Kemalezedine focuses himself on creating and exploring the world of drawing-painting. His dramatic expression toward his works get along with his strong concept around social human identity related to culture, religiosity, and politics.
